Our Vets

Born and raised in Kansas City, Dr. Kerstin Martin del Campo has always had a passion for animal care and a deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of pets and people alike. After meeting her husband at the University of Missouri, she went on to graduate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Kerstin began her career in private practice, spending three rewarding years in Virginia Beach before moving back to Athens, Georgia. It was there that she discovered her true passion for shelter medicine and high-volume spay/neuter surgery.

Her extensive experience includes serving as a medical director and shelter veterinarian across various shelters and organizations in the Southwest Florida region. Dr. Kerstin has developed a reputation for her expertise in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgeries and her compassionate approach to both animal welfare and client care. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, collecting shells and feathers, attempting to paint, digging in the dirt, obsessing over her plants, and raising chickens & goats.  She is the founder and fearless leader of SWFLSNS.

Dr. Jacqueline Young, a Tennessee native, and where she completed her undergraduate and Veterinary Medicine degree in 2015. Tennessee was not only where she met her husband but where she fell in love with spay neuter in her clinical year. She started working in general practice for one year but went back to her passion, shelter high- volume spay neuter, where she has been for the last 9 years. We are excited to have her join our growing mission to make a difference and provide much needed veterinary services to our underserved communities.
